How does Social Media Management work?

You know you need to use social media to market your business. You know it takes time to write posts, create graphics, create a content strategy, sync the strategy with your products and services, answer questions and comments, etc. You have tried to post consistently, but it takes too much time. You realize social media is a full-time job.

You hire me. To do all the above. I write posts, create graphics, create a content strategy, sync the strategy to include the products and services you want to sell, answer questions and comments, posting consistently on your desired platform. As a Social Media Manager, are you posting for me?

Yes. Social Media Management is a ghost service. I am posting on your social media profiles, under your handles, as YOU. The only way someone knows it is me posting and not you is if you tell them.

What platforms do you manage?

Currently, Twitter, Facebook fan page, Facebook group, and Instagram for any brand. In select cases, LinkedIn can also be managed on a case-by-case basis. The reason being, is that LinkedIn is exclusively used as professional platform, and is used in a different capacity that Twitter, Facebook or Instagram.

If people ask questions, do you go in and answer them?

Absolutely! The customer service part of social media is critical. We wouldn’t want to leave your fans hanging.

Do you respond to comments?

Yes! We respond to questions and comments. Whether it is liking a comment, or thanking someone for sharing, it’s all a part of customer service via social.

I do not have time to use social. Do I still have to login and post?

Nope. Clients, rarely, if ever, go in and post once they become a client. Social Media Management services are designed so that we take over your social media accounts, and you can get back to doing what you do best, running your business. Of course, you can go in and post if you want to.

How will I know if what you are doing is working?

You will know it is working by the objectives that you set, as part of your reasons for hiring us. For example, if you want to keep up a consistent presence on social media, you will be able to see your profiles look consistent. If you want to sell specific products and services, you will know it is working by the increase in phones calls and inquiries (lead generation).

If I have to create the content I’m doing all the work. What’s the point of paying you, what will you do?

I am not an college intern or oversees virtual assistant that you are paying to simply schedule posts. I create a social media strategy to promote your brand, products and services, text and visual content. As a client, you do not create content. All the content is created for you. If you have existing content that you like and has worked for you, we can integrate your content into your posting schedule.

How often will you post on social media?

There are different packages available, each with a different minimum posting schedule. The reason being, some people just need their profiles to look active, and some people want to strategically increase their following and sell some stuff. The level of posting is different for each objective.
